Here it is below.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">The first diet of the Specialty Knowledge Based Assessment (KBA) in Nephrology will be held on the 18th\u00a0 March\u00a0 2009. Successful completion of this examination will be an essential requirement for successful completion of Specialist training in Nephrology for all Specialty Registrars (StRs) appointed from August 2007 and training under the \u201cGuide to Postgraduate Specialty Training in the UK\u201d or the \u201cGold Guide\u201d. Renal Specialty Registrars (StRs) become eligible to sit the Specialty KBA after entering ST3, but it is recommended that StRs should have completed at least one year of Nephrology specialist training before attempting it.\u00a0 The exact timing will be dependent upon whether a trainee is undertaking single accreditation or dual accreditation and the balance of nephrology and general medicine in the ST3 and ST4 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">Specialist registrars appointed under the \u201cOrange Guide\u201d or \u201cGuide to Specialist Registrar training\u201d before August 2007 will be able to sit the examination if they wish after they have completed all parts of MRCP(UK) and should discuss this with their Training Programme Director.
