Completion of training

Here follows a message from JRCPTB on completion of training

Dear Trainee

Here is some important information about completion of training. If you are not yet in your final year, it’s still useful to be aware of the process for when you come to apply for your CCT. A number of points we would like to draw your attention to:

– JRCPTB will send you a notification of completion of training form (also called yellow form) 9 months prior to your completion date. This will only be sent if you have been through the PYA process. If your PYAs are incomplete, JRCPTB will write to you instead.

– If you are less than 9 months from your CCT date and have not received a notification form, please download one from the JRCPTB website: http://www.jrcptb.org.uk/training/SpR/Pages/CompletionofTraining.aspx

– The notification form now includes a section about MSF, Mini CEX and DOPS. If you are unsure about this section, we have put together some Assessment and e-portfolio Guidance which can be found here: http://www.jrcptb.org.uk/training/Pages/default.aspx If you are still unsure, email your Specialty Manager.

– As of 01/04/08 it is highly likely that the PMETB are increasing their fees for CCT applications from £750 to £780. This is for CCT applications received, by the PMETB, on or after 01/04/08. Again, if you have any queries about this, email your Specialty Manager.
